Affini Announce Acquisition by the Petards Group plc

We are delighted to announce that the Affini business has been acquired by Petards Group plc, an AIM listed developer of advanced security and surveillance systems to the Rail, Traffic and Defence sectors.

Petards Group, which includes the respected brands; QRO Solutions, RTS Solutions and Petards Rail has acquired the entire issued share capital of the Affini business.

Affini will be joining the group as a wholly owned subsidiary and retaining the Affini brand. Petards has a clear and established strategy for growth, by exploiting group synergies through acquisition and organically. There is a strong cultural as well as strategic fit, and by joining the group, Affini will be able to tap into benefits that will enable us to deliver greater customer value.

But most important, our customers can rest assured of the continued support from the team they know and rely on.  We are not planning any changes, other than accelerating some of the plans we already have in action, such as developing our managed service infrastructure, including our Radius and Telematics SaaS platforms, and bringing our expertise in a broad range of radio and wireless technologies to a growing UK market.
